The rooms inside Mind
Each room, a live instrument.
Mind opens into its own rooms, each one a real instrument you use inside the app.
Stress
A TIDES Stress Score read from your heart rate and HRV context (with a wearable), never called a diagnosis.
- Elevated and settled moments across the day
- A Stress Event card when a sustained elevated stretch is detected, with the context around it
- Live stress from a chest strap over Bluetooth, where you wear one
- Read from physiology, not self-report alone
- Staged honestly against your baseline
Never a diagnosis or a mental-health assessment. A stress reading from physiology, nothing more.
A peak around 2:40pm, settled by evening. Read from heart rate and HRV.
Capacity
Mind builds mental capacity the way training builds physical capacity, tracked over weeks.
- Focus, stress regulation, mental recovery and resilience
- Each earned from your data with a confidence band, never asserted
- An operating mode for the day: recovery, protection, growth or performance
Not a clinical assessment. Capacities are learned from your own patterns, not scored against a population.
Capacities you build like training, earned from your data over weeks, never asserted on day one.
Day Trace
Movement, stress, meals, workouts, state and sleep timing, laid along one readable line.
- The whole day as a single story
- Context you can see, not just feel
- Where a spike came from, and what followed
It shows what happened and when. It does not tell you why you felt it.
The whole day on one line: what happened, when, and what followed.
State
Placing how you feel is one gesture: energy and pleasantness on a single pad.
- A two-axis check-in in one move
- Tag what shaped it, in a tap
- Reconcile what you felt with what the sensor saw, and the gap becomes the signal
- As much or as little of the day as you want
Your check-in is yours. It becomes context, never a label put on you.
Energy (up) and pleasantness (right), placed in a single move. Drag the dot, it reads back live.
How you use Mind
Guide, Capture, Progress.
How it plans your day, how you tell it what happened, and what it shows you back.
Guide
You tell TIDES what you want to develop and how your days actually run. A 13-step build turns that into a program across the parts of a mind that respond to practice, and each morning it reads where you are and shapes the day to match, you never pick a mode, it’s already set for you.
- It asks what you want, focus, calmer stress, recovery from burnout, confidence
- It learns your baseline: desk, shift, founder, student, athlete, on the road
- Outcome-named sessions with a reason, Downshift, Focus primer, a biofeedback breath that shows your heart reaching coherence, over soundscapes
- A crashed week eases the plan instead of demanding more of you
Capture
Placing how you feel is one gesture, energy and pleasantness on a single pad. From there you can add as much or as little of the day as you want.
- Set your state on a two-axis pad in a single move
- Note what you did to steady yourself, breathwork, a walk, cold, journaling
- Posture sensed from AirPods head-motion, with a gentle reset prompt when you have been hunched a while
- Mark what the day held, a big meeting, an exam, travel, a short night
Progress
Over time you see which of your own habits actually lower your load, and how your capacity is trending. The deeper reads wait until there’s enough of you on the page to mean something.
- What genuinely settles you, ranked by how much it helps
- Focus, resilience and recovery tracked as they build
- A single mental-wellness read that only appears once enough is in
How Mind became what it is
Every generation, in the open.
Autonomic intelligence, not meditation.
A TIDES Stress Score read from HR and HRV context, an autonomic state against your personal baseline, Day Trace, movement and behavioural context, breathing and regulation, and longitudinal stress patterns.
System load from your physiology.
Sustained stress began reading from the body, staged honestly, never called a diagnosis.
Mood, with causes.
A two-axis mood check-in with cause chips, so a mood was never just a number.
Mindfulness and mood.
Breath sessions and a simple mood log.
Where it stops
The long-range reads need weeks of data before they mean anything, so until then they show how far along you are instead of a number. A capacity figure from four check-ins would be a fabrication with a decimal point.
