Skin · Current · v3.0

Your skin tells a story.

State, products, routine and change, interpreted together, at closer scale. TIDES reads the context around your skin, not just a single photo.

Inside Skin · Current · v3.0

A routine paced by what your skin can actually tolerate, built on what a scan really saw.

The rooms inside Skin

Each room, a live instrument.

Skin opens into its own rooms, each one a real instrument you use inside the app.

Skin state

Skin capture and visual change, observed and tracked over time.

  • An 8-axis read of the scan, drawn as your skin fingerprint
  • Begins with what it can actually see, and says so plainly
  • The same skin, week over week, never an idealized read
The limit

No fabricated before-and-after. It shows the real trend, even when it is slow.

Skin map

Where your skin is reacting, read zone by zone, not as one flat grade.

  • A nine-zone face map from a scan or your own notes
  • Flags what to watch and what is easing
  • The routine eases actives on the zones that are strained
The limit

It maps what it can see and what you report. It does not diagnose a skin condition.

Tap any zone

Tap a zone to read it. Where your skin is reacting, zone by zone, from a scan or your own notes.

Skin Locker

What you actually own, recognised and organised, with product and ingredient context.

  • Photograph your whole shelf at once, recognised against a curated catalog of around 430 products
  • Point the camera at a label and it reads the INCI ingredient list
  • Actives and ingredients made legible, with a heads-up on duplicate actives
  • The routine built from what you have
The limit

It organises what you own. It does not push you toward buying the next thing.

Routine

Morning and evening, product timing and adherence, shown honestly.

  • An AM and PM routine player that walks each step, with a routine-fit score
  • A Guide for what to use when, and what not to mix
  • It eases the day to Calm, Gentle or Barrier First when your skin is reactive
  • A missed step is information
The limit

It will not shame a missed step. Adherence is information, not a streak to protect.

How you use Skin

Guide, Capture, Progress.

How it plans your day, how you tell it what happened, and what it shows you back.

Guide

A scan grounds the routine in what’s actually there, not only what you typed. From there the plan moves through phases at the speed your barrier allows, and it can move backwards, because real skin does.

  • It reads your goal, skin type, sensitivities and the products you already own
  • Build it with TIDES, or bring a routine you already trust
  • Barrier repair, introducing, titrating, maintaining, phases, not a fixed schedule
  • A reactive spell steps the routine back; a settled one lets it build
  • Retinoids are held out entirely when pregnancy is flagged

Capture

A guided scan keeps lighting and angle comparable week to week, so the change you see is real change. The rest is a tap as you go.

  • Run a scan with a prep checklist, so this week compares to last
  • Tick off the AM and PM routine step by step
  • Note a trigger or how the barrier feels; scan a product into your locker

Progress

You watch your skin move over weeks against a fixed starting point, not a filtered glow-up, a like-for-like comparison.

  • Barrier state over time, with the phase you were in drawn behind it
  • Which triggers and conditions your skin tends to follow
  • Before and after on a results timeline, week 3 of 12, held against a fixed baseline

How Skin became what it is

Every generation, in the open.

Skin v3Now

A personal skin system.

Skin state and visual change, a Product Locker of what you actually own, product recognition and context, an AM/PM routine with adherence, a guide for what to use when, and longitudinal progress.

Skin v2

Routines and triggers.

AM/PM routines that simplify or build with your barrier, and typed triggers watched against your reactions.

Skin v1

The weekly scan.

Tone, redness and texture read against your own baseline.

Where it stops

TIDES doesn’t diagnose skin conditions. When something reads as persistent, painful or worsening, it says so and points you to a dermatologist.
