Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TIDES ("the App") you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. Most of them are common sense: you're 17 or older, you'll use the app the way it's meant to be used, and you understand TIDES is a wellness app, not a doctor. TIDES is operated by Tides Health, Inc. (legal@trytides.com). Effective June 10, 2026.

Who can use TIDES

You must be at least 17 years old and able to form a binding contract where you live. One account per person; you're responsible for what happens under yours.

Membership and payment

TIDES is a paid membership with a 7-day free trial. You get the full app, nothing held back: the daily Tide Score and Wave, Signal's guidance, captures across the five pillars, scans, reports, and your history.

• Monthly: $7.99 USD / month.
• Yearly: $59.99 USD / year.
• Trial: 7 days; cancel during the trial and you won't be charged.

Local prices are set by Apple, and the price shown in the App when you subscribe is the price you'll pay. Billing is processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the first period is charged. Refunds follow Apple's standard refund process; EU cooling-off rights are generally fulfilled through it, and if not, contact support@trytides.com. Price changes come with at least 30 days' in-app notice, alongside Apple's own consent rules.

What you can and can't do

Use TIDES for your own personal, non-commercial wellness tracking; export your data; share your own scores if you like. Don't use TIDES to give others medical advice, resell or redistribute access, reverse-engineer the App beyond what law permits, attack the backend or other accounts, scrape the service, or submit content that's illegal or infringes someone's rights. Violations can end your account.

Informational, not medical

TIDES is not a medical device and not a diagnostic tool. The Tide Score, Signal, the reports, and the protocol library are informational only. Always consult a qualified clinician before starting, stopping, or changing any medication, supplement, peptide, or protocol. The App displays substances because you log them; letting you track something is not a recommendation. Decisions you make based on TIDES are your own. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Your content, our content

Your data is yours. We hold a limited license to host, process, and display it to you so the App works, and we don't use it to train AI models, sell it, or share it for advertising. The TIDES name, brand, code, and designs are ours; you get a limited, non-transferable license for personal use. Feedback you send us can be used without obligation.

Leaving, and termination

Delete your account anytime in the app (Profile → Delete account); this erases your data per the Privacy Policy. We can suspend accounts that violate these Terms or when law requires; if we ever discontinue the App we'll give reasonable notice and let you export your data first.

Disclaimers and liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages; our total liability is capped at the greater of what you paid us in the last 12 months or $50 USD. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Apple

These Terms are between you and TIDES, not Apple. Apple has no maintenance or support obligation; if the App fails to conform to a warranty you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, and Apple has no other warranty obligation. TIDES, not Apple, handles claims about the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Tides Health, Inc. is established. Before any formal claim, contact legal@trytides.com and give us 30 days to resolve it informally; failing that, the courts of competent jurisdiction where Tides Health, Inc. is established will hear the dispute. EU/EEA consumers keep their statutory right to proceed in their home courts and to rely on mandatory consumer-protection law.
