The founder
Behind TIDES.
Built by one person. Designed as a complete system.
TIDES is currently built by me, Ahib Raza Jan.
Product, design, engineering, research, brand, health logic, privacy architecture, all of it started at the same desk.
That wasn’t really the plan.
TIDES began as a tiny peptide logger because I kept forgetting whether I’d taken my dose. Then I kept finding problems I wanted the product to solve.
Protocols became health tracking. Health tracking exposed fragmentation. Fragmentation led to Body, Fuel, Mind, Skin and Protocol. Those pillars needed interpretation, which eventually became Signal.
Somewhere along the way, a small personal tool became a much larger health system.
I’m still building it that way today: obsessively, one problem at a time.

The work behind TIDES
One founder. A lot of disciplines.
Building TIDES means working across areas that would normally belong to completely different teams. These aren’t departments. They’re the responsibilities that have shaped the product.
What should TIDES do?
The roadmap, product philosophy and the decisions about what belongs in TIDES, and what doesn’t.
How should health feel?
The interface, interaction language and visual system behind every surface of TIDES.
How does it actually work?
The iOS app, integrations, health-data pipelines, infrastructure and systems underneath it.
What can we responsibly say?
Research, physiological models, evidence thresholds and the boundaries around interpretation.
How does TIDES understand context?
Signal, personalisation, cross-pillar reasoning and the systems that turn measurements into useful interpretation.
What should TIDES never compromise?
Consent, provenance, data ownership and the rules that prevent the product from pretending it knows more than it does.
TIDES is a solo-founded and solo-built product today. If that changes, this page will change with it.
